Winfree has a new champion!!!  Lizzie finished her championship at the South Bay Kennel Club show in Torrance, CA on August 13, 2006.  Showing to Judge Robert Boothe, Lizzie went Winners Bitch > Best of Opposite Sex.  Congratulations to Kim and Lizzie.  Thanks, Kim, for handling Lizzie so beautifully and especially for loving Lizzie so much.  I couldn't be more proud of this team!!!

Lizzie and Hermione (Ch. Barrister Magical Muggle) took Best Brace in Show under Dr. Lee Anthony Reasin at the Kennel Club of Pasadena on Sunday, June 4, 2006.

Day one (October 23, 2005) of back-to-back shows sponsored by the Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore (CA) was very exciting for Kim and Winfree.  Lizzie went Reserve to a 5-point major!!!  Judging was Mr. Michael Boothroyd.  While this win did not garner any points, it is nonetheless a very prestigious win and I'm very proud of Lizzie and Kim.  These shows were held in conjunction with the English Cocker Spaniel Club of Northern California Specialty shows in Pleasanton.

We have a major win!!!!!  Showing to Judge Dana Cline at the ECS Club of Southern CA Supported Entry show, Lizzie went Best of Winners to earn her a 4-point major!!!  This show was held on July 10, 2005 and sponsored by the Ventura County Dog Fanciers Association.  We are so excited about this win.  Our thanks to Judge Cline for such an awesome win that brings Lizzie's point total to 13.  Congratulations Kim and Lizzie!!!  Kim, Are you still floating on that cloud?

Lizzie just continues to shine in sunny California in the capable hands of Kim.  On Saturday, April 23, 2005, day one of the two-day Angeles Canyon Dog Club shows in City of Industry, CA, Lizzie took Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex under Judge Mrs. Peggy Hogg picking up two points.  On day two, with Mr. Lowell K. Davis judging, Lizzie went Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex for another two points.  We are so proud of Lizzie and Kim.  Now with a total of nine points, Kim is looking for those majors!!!

Lizzie had another banner weekend at the Kennel Club of Riverside shows in Perris, CA.  On September 25, 2004, she went Reserve Winners Bitch under Judge Douglas McFarlane.  Then, the next day, September 26, she went Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex under Judge Eric Ringle.  She now has 4 points at 11 months of age.

And Sunday makes three!!  Three points that is!!  At the South Bay Kennel Club show in Torrance, CA on August 8, 2004, Lizzie went Best of Opposite Sex under Judge Stephen Hurt for her third point.  Thanks, Kim, for showing Lizzie so beautifully.

On Sunday, July 18, 2004 at the Conejo Kennel Club show in Oxnard, CA, Lizzie went Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Opposite Sex to pick up another point.  Our thanks to Judge Charles Doran.

We have some great news!!!!  Lizzie has her first point!!!  At the Angeles Canyon Dog Club show in Los Angeles, CA on Saturday, June 25, 2004, Judge Jean Fournier gave Lizzie Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex.  This show is part of the Pacific Coast Classic.  And the Bravo! crew caught it all on tape for the upcoming documentary tentatively titled "Man's Best Friend", a six-part documentary to be aired later this year.

This is an absolutely beautiful picture of Lizzie and Kim by TRR Photography that appeared on the www.colliesonline.com website January 15, 2005.  What an unexpected pleasure this was to see.  Permission was graciously received from TRR Photography and colliesonline to post this ad on the Winfree English Cocker Spaniels website.

Lizzie's New Hobby!!!

Tearing the toilet paper off the roll while standing on the pot!  AND she will stare at the empty roll until I come and remove it for her to finish annihilating it!  She reaches over and rolls it and, if it is too full, she will wait until it is used more, or go investigate the status of the other roll in the other bathroom.  She does this everywhere: hotel rooms, auntie's house, anywhere.  She averages a roll a day!!!!  Ahhhh!!! The joys of Engie ownership!!!
