No refusal was called ... Rich got up, and they completed the run, still making course time.  YEH TEAM!!!!!

***  UKC Agility Champion  ***
Dom earns U-ACH Title
April 26, 2009

Dom and Rich went to Lewisberry, PA and were entered in the UKC Agility trial hosted by TNT Canines on April 25 and 26, 2009.  They were down to the wire Qing 6 of 8 times ... and needing a perfect score (200) in AG-2 for the required last ten points, the very last run of the weekend with a temperature of 94 degrees outside, about 85 inside the barn.  The last course was the hardest of the day to do--several front/rear crosses, bad weave entry, and the crawl tunnel twice.   HE DID IT !!   Under Judge Kim Smith, Dom qualified in both AG-1 and AG-2 earning all the required points for the title of UKC Agility Champion which, overall, took 10 months.

WAY TO GO!!!!!  This is another first for Winfree and I'm so very proud of this team.  I don't think there's any stopping them!!!

***   UKC AGILITY   ***

Dom earns 46 points towards his U-ACH (UKC Agility Champion) title.  I could not be prouder of Dom than this weekend ...

We went to the December 13 and 14, 2008 UKC Agility trial in Beltsville, MD--4 trials Saturday, 4 Sunday, and Dom qualified 8 for 8!!!!!

Because he recently earned his U-AG2,  we are now working on his U-ACH which requires 100 pts ... some from the U-AGI class and some from U-AGII class....to get points you pretty much have to have a clean run ..anything less than 196 = 0 points.

200 =  10 points
199  =   6 points
198  =   4 points
197  =   2 points
196 =    1 point

I think the Domster was whipped from yesterday as he slept all day in his crate ...I felt guilty waking him up for today's runs.  Courses today were a little tougher and he was a little more tired.  However, he earned a 200 in AGII for 10 points and this afternoon a 200 in AGI for 10 points.  The other runs for today were a 190 and 192, both Qs but no points.  Dom was one of the very few that qualified all 8 times, and in one weekend has a total of 46 points ... 20 today and 26 yesterday.

The trial was put on by K9 Konnection and the judge Saturday was Jean Watkins and Sunday was Edie Alyn.
