RALLY OBEDIENCE

** Dom earns 7th and 8th RAE 6 Rally Obedience legs **
July 2 & 3,  2010  La Plata, MD

Dom and Rich participated in the Southern MD Kennel Club's Rally Obedience trial.   Under Jean Nocily, Dom qualified two times on Friday in Excellent and Advanced classes and two more times again on Saturday to earn his 7th and 8th RAE6 legs.  On Friday, Dom placed 4th in the Excellent class.


**  Dom qualifies 8 times, earns RL2 Rally title and TWO PERFECT scores  **
June 26-27, 2010

At the APDT sanctioned Rally Obedience trial held in Fredericksburg, VA, Dom qualified 8 times in Level 1 and Level 2 classes.  Under judges Linda Chairmonte and Laurie Williams, Dom earned his Level 2 (RL2) title.  He also double Q'd two times, placed several times, and earned two perfect scores!!!

Dom and Rich are working towards their ARCH (Rally Obedience Champion title) in the APDT venue.

** Dom earns 6th leg towards RAE6 title **

Dom and Rich went to the Langley KC Rally trial in Hampton, VA at the Hampton Convention Center.  Under Judge Arthur Cartwright, Dom qualified in both Rally Excellent and Advanced classes.


** Dom earns 3rd U-RO3 leg and title **
June 5, 2010 in Beltsville, Md

Dom and Rich attended the K-9 Konnection's summer Rally Obedience trial in Beltsville, MD at the Canine Training Association's training center.  Dom competed in UKC Rally Level 3 and qualified under Judges Ellen Adomelis for his U-RO3 title and his 4th, extra leg, under Joan Klinger.

Dom completed the 2009 Rally Obedience season with a top average score of 99.2!!


** Dom earns 4th and 5th RAE6 Rally Obedience legs **
April 24, 25, 2010 Timonium, MD

Under Judge Pat Fallon, Dom earned his 4th and 5th RAE6 Rally Obedience legs.  Dom qualified twice Saturday, and twice Sunday at the Old Dominion and Baltimore County Kennel Clubs shows.


** Dom earns 2nd and 3rd RAE6 legs **
April 3 & 4, 2010 Howard County Fairgrounds
West Friendship, Maryland

At the Upper Marlboro KC, under Judge Jean Nocily, Dom earned his 2nd and 3rd legs towards his RAE6 Rally Obedience title.  In addition to qualifying 4 times, Dom placed 1st in Excellent B and 4th in Advanced B classes on Saturday.


**    Dom earns 1st Rally Obedience Leg towards his RAE6   **
March 5, 2010... La Plata, MD

Dom earned his first RAE6 leg under Judge Nancy Withers at the Maryland Sporting Dog Show.  Dom qualified in both Excellent and Advanced classes and earned a 4th place in Advanced.
 


**  NEW RAE5 Title for Dom  **     
Dom earns 9th and 10th RAE5 legs and Title

On February 26 and 27, Dom and Rich participated in the Salisbury KC Rally Obedience trial in Salisbury, MD.  Under Judge Deborah Cecotti, Dom qualified in Excellent and Advanced classes on Friday night for his 9th RAE5 leg.  On Saturday February 27, Dom double Q'd again earning his 10th leg and RAE5 title.  There's just no stopping this team!!!!!  Congratulations!!!!!


**  Dom earns 7th and 8th RAE5 legs  **
February 20 & 21, 2010
Newark, Delaware

Dom and Rich participated in the Delaware Valley Chinese Crested Club's Rally Obedience trial. On Saturday, under Judge Carol Artim, Dom earned his 7th RAE5 leg by qualifying in Excellent and Advanced classes.  Dom earned a First Place in Advanced and a Second Place in Excellent.  On Sunday, under Judge Patricia Scully,  Dom, again, double Q'd in Excellent and Advanced classes, earning his 8th RAE5 leg.


**  Dom Double Qs and Earns Rally RAE5 6th leg  **
January 22, 2010

Dom's first Rally Obedience trial of the year was the Sheltie Club of Greater Baltimore held in Beltsville, MD.  Under Judge Mike Mooney, Dom qualified both in Rally Excellent B and Advanced B classes.  In Advanced B, Dom earned a Third Place with a 97 (15 dogs).


**  Dom earns Rally Obedience RAE5 legs 4 and 5  **
December 11 and 12, 2009
Durham Kennel Club

Under judges Jeff Showman and Betsy Hummer,  Dom qualified in Rally Excellent and Advanced classes Friday night and again Saturday morning. The Rally Obedience trial was held in Durham, NC. Dom earned his 4th and 5th RAE5 legs.


**  Dom earns UKC U - R02 title and 2 U - R03 legs  **
November 22, 2009

At the Pup'n Iron UKC Rally Obedience trial on November 21 & 22, 2009 in Fredericksburg, VA, Dom and Rich earned their last two UKC R02 Rally Obedience legs and Dom's U - R02 title.  Dom and Rich also earned two U - R03 legs toward Dom's U - R03 title.  Dom's two judges were Minta WillaQuette and Laurie Williams.


**  Dom earned RAE5 legs 2 and 3  **
November 12 and 13, 2009

The Penn Treaty KC and the Greater Philadelphia Dog Fanciers KC had Rally Obedience trials.  Dom qualified in Excellent and Advanced classes with scores of  97, 98, 99, and 99.  Mrs. Elvidge was the judge.


**  Dom earns first RAE5 leg  **
November 8, 2009

At the Salisbury, MD Mispillion KC Rally Obedience trial, Dom showed under Judge Catherine Thompson.  He earned his first RAE5 leg by qualifying in both Excellent and Advanced classes.


**   Dom earns RAE4 legs 9 and 10 and title!!!!!  **
November 6th and 7th, 2009 ...  Salisbury (MD) KC

On Friday, under Judge Tibby Evans, Dom qualified in Rally Excellent and Advanced classes and earned his 9th RAE4 leg.  He also placed 2nd of 15 dogs in Excellent B with a score of 95.

Then on Saturday, Dom double Q'd again, earning his 10th leg, and RAE4 title, under Judge Catherine Thompson.

*** This last Q represents the 89th time in a row Dom has Q'd in the Rally Obedience ring.  What a winning team they are!!!!! ***


**  Dom earns 7th and 8th RAE4 legs  **
October 31 and November 1, 2009

Under Judge McMillan, Dom Qd four times and earned his 7th and 8th legs toward his RAE4 at the Back Mountain KC trial in Bloomsburg, PA.  TWO MORE TO GO!!!


**  Dom earns 5th and 6th RAE4 Rally Obedience legs  **
Qualifies 4 times in two days

Dom qualified two times on Friday morning, October 2, 2009, under Judge Betsy Baird ... Mt. Vernon DTC, and again on Saturday afternoon, October 3, under Judge Deb Barrows Capital DTC.


** Dom earns 4th RAE4 Rally Obedience leg **
September 25, 2009

Under Judge Carol Metts at the Westmoreland Obedience Training Club, Dom qualified in both Rally Excellent and Advanced classes, double "Q ing" for his 4th RAE4 Rally Obedience leg.


** Dom earns 2nd and 3rd RAE4 Rally Obedience legs **
** and a perfect score of 100!!! **
Saturday, September 19, 2009

At the Southern MD DTC trial Dom Qd in Ex B and Adv B classes earning his 2 leg towards his RAE4.  Then in the late evening Dom Qd in Ex B and Adv B classes again at the Hyattsville DTC trial earning his RAE4 3rd leg.
 
The best part was out of 15 dogs, Dom placed 3rd in Ex B at Southern MD's trial.  AND....
late at night, he placed 4th in Ex B in Hyattsville DTC 's trial ......... and after 12 hrs and at his last trial ...   HE EARNED A 100 in Ex B.
 
Mary Ann Mullins was the judge.


**  Dom earns RAE4 first leg  **
Sunday  June 21, 2009

Under Judge Jon Metts, Dom earned his first RAE4 leg by double Qing in Excellent and Advanced Rally Obedience classes. This was the Virginia Kennel Club trial at the Showplace in Richmond, VA.  Dom received a 3rd place in the Advanced class.

+++ To date Dom has competed and qualified 71 times in a row in AKC Rally Obedience. +++


** Dom earns 10th RAE3 leg and RAE3 title **
June 20, 2009   Richmond Showplace

Under Judge Carol Metts, Dom and Rich participated in the Virginia Kennel Club's Saturday Rally Obedience trial.  Dom first qualified in Rally Excellent class with a 99 and a first place and then again in Advanced class with a 95 earning his 10th leg and Rally Advanced Excellent 3 (RAE3) title.  What a way to finish!!!!  This team is just amazing!!!  I couldn't be more proud.  Way to go!!!!!


** Dom earns 8th and 9th RAE3 legs  **
June 5 & 6, 2009   Delmont, PA

Under Judge Cindy Pinschke, Dom qualified two times Friday and twice again Saturday in Rally Excellent and Advanced classes.  At the Westmoreland OTC Rally trial, Dom earned his 8th and 9th RAE3 legs.  On Saturday, Dom earned a 2nd and 4th place of 12 dogs in the Excellent and Advanced classes.

** Dom earns UKC Rally Obedience 1 ( U-RO1 ) title  **
and 1st leg toward his U-RO2 title
May 30, May 31, 2009

At the first UKC Rally trial in the Mid-Atlantic area and K-9 Konnection's first UKC Rally trial, Dom qualified 3 times and earned his U-RO1 Rally Obedience title.  Under judges Sally Hensen and Susan Trotto, Dom earned two 99 scores and a 4th place of 39 dogs.  On Sunday, he earned his 1st leg towards his U-RO2.


** Dom earns RAE3 legs 4, 5, 6, and 7  **
May 22, 23, 24, 25, 2009

Competing in Rally Obedience, Don qualified 8 times at the Memorial Day weekend cluster at the Hampton, VA Convention Center.  Under Judge Carol Mullins on May 22 and 23, Dom earned his 4th and 5th RAE3 legs.  On May 23, he scored 99 twice.
 
On May 24 he earned his 6th leg under Deb Barrows and on the 25th under Judge Minta Williquette, Dom earned his 7th RAE3 leg and a second and third place.


** Dom earns 3rd RAE3 Rally Obedience Leg **

Dom and Rich competed in the Catoctin KC's Rally Obedience trial on 20 April, 2009 in Timonium, MD.  Under Judge Dawn Martin, Dom qualified in both Rally Excellent and Advanced classes earning his 3rd RAE3 leg.


** Dom earns 1st and 2nd RAE3 Rally legs **
April 10 and 11, 2009

On April 10, Dom competed in the Chambersburg KC Rally Obedience trial in Harrisburg, PA under Judge Phyllis Broderick qualifying in both Rally Excellent and Advanced classes.  This was Dom's first RAE3 leg. 

On April 11, under Judge Deb Barrows, Dom double Qd, earning his second RAE3 leg and a Third Place from the Advanced class in the Harrisburg KC's Rally Obedience trial. 

Both of these trials were a part of the annual Blue & Gray Cluster held at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Complex.


** Dom earns RAE2 Rally Obedience Title **
April 9, 2009

Dom earned his new title today under Judge Jeff Showman at the Lebanon County KC Rally Obedience trial held in Harrisburg, PA.  He first qualified in Excellent class and then his double Q was earned in Advanced class.  Dom's last leg for his title was with a FIRST PLACE OF 31 DOGS in Advanced class and a score of 98.  What a way to finish !!!!!  Dom has qualified 49 times in a row in Rally Obedience with 20 double Qs.  This is another first for Winfree English Cockers--a RAE2 titleholder.  I am so proud of this team!!!!!


  **   Dom earns 8th and 9th double Q legs towards his RAE2  **
March 28 and 28, 2009

Under judges Pat Hess and Nancy Withers, Dom qualified two times on Saturday and again two times on Sunday in both Rally Excellent and Advanced classes for his 8th and 9th RAE2 Rally Obedience legs.  The Upper Marlboro KC held the event at Howard County Fairgrounds in MD.
JUST ONE MORE DOUBLE Q TO GO!!!!!!!!  Go Dom and Rich!!!!!!!  This will be Winfree's first RAE2 title!!!!!  WOW!!!


**  Dom double Qs, earns 7th RAE2 Rally obedience leg **
March 15, 2009

Under Judge Diane Stout, Dom and Rich participated in the Dog Owner's Training Club (DOTC) MD's, Rally Obedience trial at the Howard County Fairgrounds.  Dom first qualified in Rally Excellent and then later he qualified in the Advanced class to earn his 7th leg (QQ) towards his Rally Advanced Excellent 2 ( RAE2 ) title.  Almost there!!!!


**  Dom double Qs twice .... earns 5th & 6th RAE2 rally legs  **
February  27 and 28, 2009

Dom and Rich went the Maryland Sporting Dog Association's Rally Obedience trial at the Charles County Fairgrounds in La Plata, MD.  Under Judge Nancy Withers, Dom first double qualified on Friday and then again qualified 2 times on Saturday.  This earned Dom his 5th and 6th legs towards his RAE2 Rally Obedience title.  Dom also placed 3rd both times on Saturday with two scores of 96.


**   Dom earns 4th leg towards his RAE2 title  **

On  February 13, 2009, Dom went to the Star City Canine Training Club's Salem, VA Rally trial held in the Salem Civic Center.  Under Judge Nancy Davis, Dom qualified in both Rally Obedience Excellent and Advanced classes ( Double Q'd ) with a third place in Excellent. 


**   Dom double Qs, earns 3rd RAE2 Rally leg   **
January 18, 2009

Dom and Rich went to the Sheltie Club of Baltimore's Rally Trial in Maryland.   Under Judge Ed Whitney, Dom qualified first in Rally Excellent with a score of 95, and then in Advanced with a 99 to earn Dom's 3rd leg towards his Rally Advanced Excellent 2 ( RAE2 ) title.


**   Dom earns 2nd RAE2 Rally Obedience Leg  **

In Charlotte, NC on November 13, 2008, Rich and Dom earned their second RAE2 Rally obedience leg at the Doberman Pinscher Rally Obedience trial.  Under Judge Parrill, Dom first qualified in Rally Excellent and then again for his second Q in Rally Advanced class.  EIGHT MORE TO GO FOR an RAE2 title!!


**  Dom earns 1st RAE2 Rally Obedience Leg  **

Dom's first RAE2 leg was earned at the Golden Triangle DOTC's indoor Rally trial near Pittsburg, PA on October 11, 2008, earning double Qs in both Excellent and Advanced classes.  Both Qs were under Judge Dan Herald.

Additional RAE titles:
To earn an RAE title, a dog and handler must qualify both in Rally Excellent class and Advanced class the same day TEN times (earning ten double Q legs) or a total of 20 separate Qs.  Each additional number; for example, RAE2, 3, 4 etc., reflects ten more double qualifying legs or 20 more qualifying scores total.

***HE DID IT!!!  Dom earns 9th and 10th double Qs and RAE Title***

After qualifying over 30 times in the Rally Obedience ring, Dom finally earned his 9th and 10th double Qs and the Rally Advanced  Excellent (RAE) title.  The trials were October 3 and 4, 2008 and sponsored by the Capital Dog Training Club, located in Point-of-Rocks, MD.  Rich and Dom earned their last two RAE legs under judges Karen Anderson (Oct. 3) and Sandra Curtis-Powell (Oct. 4).  WAHOO!!!!!

What an amazing team Rich and Dom are.  They have done so much to elevate the performance attributes of the Winfree English Cockers.  Thanks guys!!!
 


     
 

** Dom earns 7th and 8th Rally Advanced Excellent Double Qs  **

Dom and Rich went to Pittsburgh, PA and participated in the September 26 and 27, 2008 Westmoreland County Obedience Training Club's Rally Obedience trial.  On Saturday, under Judge Linda Macdonald,  Dom first qualified in Rally Excellent with a score of 98 and a Second Place, and then later that day in Rally Advanced class with another 98 and a Third Place.  Both placements were in classes of 12 dogs.  This was Dom's 7th double Q.  

Then, on Sunday, under Judge Bud Skarbeck, Dom earned his 8th double Q with a 94 in Rally Excellent and then again qualified in the Advanced class with another 94.

** Dom earns 6th Rally Advanced Excellent Double Q **

On September 20, 2008, Dom and Rich went to the the Southern MD Dog Training Club of Poolesville MD's annual Obedience and Rally trial held in Beltsville.  In the Rally Excellent B class, Dom earned a 97 and a Third Place!
One hour later, they competed in the Rally Advanced class earning a 98 and completing their 6th double Q.  The judge was Ted McCall.

** Dom earns 4th and 5th Rally Advanced Excellent Double Qs  **

On June 6 and 7, 2008, Dom and Rich went to the Westmoreland OTC Rally Obedience trial in Delmont, PA.  In spite of 97 degree temperatures (outdoors), the building was cool enough inside and Dom earned his 4th and 5th double Qs in Rally Excellent and Rally Advanced on Friday and Saturday toward his Rally RAE title..... They're HALF WAY THERE !!!  They competed both days under Judge Richard DiMarco.

 
     

 
     

     
 

** Dom earns 2nd and 3rd Rally Advanced Excellent
Double Qs of 10 required for RAE title **

At the Saturday May 25, 2008 Merrimac DTC Hampton, VA Rally Obedience trial, held in the Hampton Coliseum, Dom earned his 3rd double Q by qualifying in the ring two times .....once in the morning in Rally Excellent and then again that afternoon in Rally Advanced class, under Judge M. Doan.  Both were very tough courses.

On  Friday May 24, 2008 in Hampton, VA at the Merrimac DTC Rally Obedience trial, Dom earned his 2nd RAE double Q of 10 required by qualifying in Rally Excellent and then again in Rally Advanced classes under Judge Doan.

Dom earns 1st RAE Double Q of 10 required

On April 15, 2008, Dom and Rich were entered in the 2008 ECSCA National Excellent B Rally Obedience class under Judge Sandra Marr.  Dom earned a 95 and a Second Place.  That afternoon, Dom was entered in Rally Advanced and earned another qualifying score (Double Q) and his first RAE leg under Judge Marr.  I am so proud of this team.  The National was held in Lancaster, PA.

Under Judge Mary Ann Mullen, Dom and Rich showed at the Richmond DOC's April 11, 2008 Rally Obedience trial.  Competing in Excellent B, Dom earned his 3rd and final leg and his RE title with a score of 99.  Way to go team!!!

What a WOW! weekend for Dom and Rich.  At the Maryland Sporting Dog Association's Rally Obedience trials February 29 and March 1, 2008, Dom earned his 1st and 2nd Rally Excellent legs.  Nancy Withers was the judge for these rally courses.  Location was the Charles County Fairgrounds in LaPlata, MD.

At the Agility Club of Chatham (Danville, VA)'s first Rally Obedience trial on January 18, 2008, Dom heeled his way to a third leg and new title, Rally Advanced (RA), under Judge Anthony Cherubini.
Kudos to Dom and Rich, his best buddy and handler!!!!!

Dom earned his first and second Rally Advanced (RA) legs with a Second and Third Place.  Sixteen dogs were entered.
Judges this weekend were Anna Lorenz and Karen Mills.

 
     
 
 
 

**   Rally Novice   **

Dom qualified three times in a row to earn his RN (Rally Novice) title.   On April 21, 2007 at the Old Dominion Kennel Club of Northern VA trial, he earned his first qualifying leg.  Judging was Mrs. Debra Barrows.  This trial was part of the 2007 Cherry Blossom Cluster and was held at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD.

Then on May 26 at the Merrimac Dog Training Center in Hampton, VA, Dom heeled his way to his second leg and a Fourth Place with a score of 100 under Judge Pat Hess.

Dom's third and final qualifying leg AND RN title was earned on May 27 at the Gloucester KC trial.  Judge Mary Diesem gave him a score of  98 and First Place.  I am so impressed!!!!  Go Dom and Rich!!!!!
